Inaugural Non-Test Post

So Cubicle Haiku was started by a group of disaffected 20-somethings back in 1998 or so when we all sat at cubicles doing different jobs in different parts of the country. We didn't have blogs back then so people just emailed their haiku and I compiled them. And then I *published* them to the *web* using a program I had to learn in graduate school called *Microsoft Front Page* and I published all the haiku to a *geocities* website where they were infrequently updated. Ah, the good old days.

I have since lost any access to this geocities website and it is a tragic loss.

So now we are almost all 30-something and some of us close to 40, and you may or may not still sit in a cubicle but fan the fire of your creative disgust for work (or looking for work) and compose some haiku. Or just waste time by composing haiku about anything else.

And now (thanks to blogs -- RIP geocities) you can do the updating yourself.

The Original Slogan
Cubicle haiku
Creativity run amok
on the man's time

Inaugural Haiku
It's been a long time.
Blame work for sidetracking us.
Revenge begins now.
